Model Details

This simulator models a first-order irreversible reaction (A -> B) occurring in a CSTR at steady state. Users can adjust the inlet concentration, flow rate, reactor volume, and reaction rate constant to observe the effect on the outlet concentration of the reactant and product. The model is based on the fundamental CSTR design equation and provides a graphical representation of concentration versus residence time.
